Happy #nationalbreastfeeding week. Luckily for me Nikaya and I've had a good go at breastfeeding. One reason being that when our world totally changed by leaving Colorado I was able to spend a lot of time with her throughout her first year. Now that she's almost 20 months and a toddler I try and keep it to bedtime and morning, but it's a special connection she still enjoys and so do I. At this point rather forcing her to quit I'm going to help her self wean and always remember that she's only this small for such a small time. #blessedtobreastfeed #sweetdaughter #motherhoodisthebesthood #nikayabelle
